Deltapine® cotton seed is available in reinforced lined paper bags or Boll Boxes™. All bags are palletized and stretch wrapped before shipment. Our color-coded bag distinction allows for easy visual recognition of each product group. All seed treatment information and traits included are clearly labeled on all bags or Boll Boxes.

Deltapine® Boll Boxes


The new reusable Boll Box container is the most efficient, versatile container to transport and dispense seed.

  • The Boll Box is Deltapine® green and yellow.
  • The box holds approximately 9.5 million seeds.
  • The smooth sloped interior allows safe and rapid emptying of the contents.
  • The Boll Box containers stack and nest to eliminate wasted storage space. The actual size of a filled/assembled box is: length-56.5 inches; width-45 inches; height-65 inches
  • The size of an empty/nested box is: length -56.5 inches; width-45 inches; height-39.3 inches
  • A 53 foot trailer will hold approximately 19 full boxes and 44 empty boxes.

Monsanto offers all products in Boll Boxes, including all conventional, Roundup Ready, Roundup Ready Flex, Bollgard and Bollgard II products. The Boll Box container will have a sign clearly designating which type of cotton seed and technology is in the container. The variety and lot number information will be accessible in a plastic holder on the end of each box. For tracing purposes, the Boll Box serial number is permanently located on the side panel immediately under the slide gate. Only full and untampered-with Boll Boxes are eligible for return. Seed purchased in the Boll Box container may not be returned. Cotton seed in the Deltapine® Boll Box is eligible for the seed exchange program. However, you can only exchange Boll Boxes for Boll Boxes unless the seed is not available in bulk packaging. Boll Boxes are not eligible for cotton seed refills. All transportation costs to deliver and return empty Boll Box containers from our distributor will be paid by Monsanto prior to return deadline. All returns after deadlines to Monsanto designated warehouses are at distributor's expense.
